Our sun savvy bracelets tell you when ultraviolet (UV) light is present and remind you to wear UV protective clothing!

When you are outdoors, beads in the bracelet will change colours into pink or purple. The stronger the UV radiation is, the quicker the colour changes into the stronger colour. When you are indoors, and away from the sun's UV light the beads change back to transparent white.

A special pigment in these beads reacts with UV light to change the shape of the pigment's molecules and this process changes their colours. This light influenced chemical reaction is called photochromism. Backed by science, we hope this bracelet helps you stay sun safe!
